Cape Kaliakra
Cape Kaliakra, translated from Greek, means "the beautiful cape". It cuts 2 kilometers into the sea. The reddish rocks on both sides are up to 70 meters high. The view of the vast sea, spreading to the horizon, is breathtaking. Dolphins can often be seen in the water, and more than 310 bird species nest in the rocks and the surroundings.
You can visit the cave museum – one of a kind in Bulgaria. The exhibition reveals interesting facts from the life of the Thracians, the Romans and the people who lived in these places during the Middle Ages. Just next to the museum there is a restaurant with a magnificent sea panorama.
